As an advocate for victims of abuse since 1997 and the founder of Called to Peace Ministries, Joy has dedicated her life to this work.Drawing from her experience as a biblical counselor and author, she helps us explore the complex layers of the story, its impact, and the difficult but necessary journey from trauma to hope.

Today, to discuss Sarah's Story, we are joined by a leading voice in Christ-centered counseling and domestic abuse intervention, Dr. Greg Wilson.
Dr. Wilson is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Texas and the head of Soul Care Associates, a counseling practice in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He holds a Doctor of Educational Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where his research focused specifically on how churches can and should respond to domestic abuse. He is the co-author of the practical guide, 'When Home Hurts: A Guide for Responding Wisely to Domestic Abuse in Your Church.'
